An Interview With Sara Moseley – The Big Picture

When was the last time that you took a step back from your business to see ‘the big picture’?

In July 2009, Sara Moseley who runs her own very successful photography business in Staffordshire did just that, spending three intensive days training with Brett Harkness, Catherine Connor and Jane Breakell on The Big Picture at Annabel Williams CPT.

We asked Sara – ‘If you could take one element from each day of this seminar that you have taken and implemented into you business, what would it be and what result has it had?’

course 095-2

Day One – Catherine Connor on Marketing

We say – ‘Learn how to market your business to increase your client bookings, the right clients for you!’

Sara says – ‘Catherine’s pearls of wisdom have really changed the way I market myself.  I really think outside of the box now and focus my time on working with other businesses that are also targeting my desired clients – together, our promotions have much more impact.  My number of enquiries has dropped… but the quality of my leads and subsequent business has increased exactly as planned!  Brilliant!’

Day Two – Brett Harkness on Photography

We say – ‘Learn how to create vibrant images using flash alone and how to combine flash and natural light to expand and update your photographic repertoire to compliment your style – make your images stand out from the crowd!’

Sara says – ‘Spending the day with Brett was fabulous!  His tips on flash really opened my eyes and fired my imagination to use it in conjunction with natural light in a creative way… more than just the fill-in.  With these new ideas up my sleeve and the knowledge to put them into practice I have been brave enough to incorporate flash in my shoots – with spectacular results!’

course 093-2

Day Three – Jane Breakell on Sales

We say – ‘Learn how to maximise your sales and increase your profits!’

Sara says – ‘Jane’s approach to sales was awesome!  By the end of the session it all seemed so simple and logical, and I instantly knew what I needed to do to sell more of what I wanted to sell.  I was selling prints but had always aspired to a more professional, high-end product range, frames, canvases, albums – now I have!’

And overall Sara – ‘Superb!  Without fear of exaggeration, life changing!’

Are you attracting the right clients and enough of them?
Are you shooting with the sale in mind, or just shooting?
Do your images still have the “wow” factor?
Are you maximising each sale?

One Response to “An Interview With Sara Moseley – The Big Picture”

  1. Great to see the delegates point of view. I know Sara as she attended the Digital Wedding straight after, and we’ve spoke about the impact it has had on her business and more importantly how she feels about her business.

Sara has a big personality and I expect to see big things from her in the future!
