It's been a busy media month! - so thought I'd give you a few links to the various articles that I've been writing recently. Hope you find them helpful - grab a coffee and enjoy!

Set up your camera the easy way...

One of the most important things about photographing people is not to worry about the technical side - you don't need to know many things about your camera to be able to take great pictures.

Should you turn your passion into your job?

by Annabel in Stuff on 07 February 2012 23:13

People write to me every day saying, “I just love photography, how can I become a professional?”

And many of those that have already started, tell me, “I seem to be running around like crazy, for very little money!”

Is your lack of confidence holding you back?

Do you know what the most difficult thing is about photography? Do you know what holds you back most of all? It's not the camera, or the person you're photographing, or lack of experience – it’s CONFIDENCE. Get that right, and the rest will just follow – trust me.

The Fit Guy

Well if this is work – bring it on! Out in Key West recently I happened to meet 22-year-old Jared at a party. Everyone in the room fell silent when he walked in (I nearly fell off my chair!) and within two minutes I had booked him for a shoot!

Amazingly, he had never had a professional photo shoot in his life – which was fantastic news to me! I love photographing people who don’t realise how good they can look in a photo – it’s much more fun than photographing trained models.
