My question is, when are we going to see some of the ‘fit guy’ entries?!

It's been a busy media month! - so thought I'd give you a few links to the various articles that I've been writing recently. Hope you find them helpful - grab a coffee and enjoy!
One of the most important things about photographing people is not to worry about the technical side - you don't need to know many things about your camera to be able to take great pictures.
People write to me every day saying, “I just love photography, how can I become a professional?”
And many of those that have already started, tell me, “I seem to be running around like crazy, for very little money!”
Do you know what the most difficult thing is about photography? Do you know what holds you back most of all? It's not the camera, or the person you're photographing, or lack of experience – it’s CONFIDENCE. Get that right, and the rest will just follow – trust me.
Having spent many years teaching people to be photographers, this word crops up constantly. In every seminar that I have trained, the key thing I have to deal with is people’s lack of confidence in themselves and their ability to sell their pictures.
Often I do shoots just because I am inspired by something random. Last Halloween I met Maria in a bar, dressed in her wedding dress with a bunch of dead flowers and fake blood running down her face! She looked fabulous!
If you find it tricky to get great shots of your kids, it could be that you need to do more than just "point and shoot". A little careful planning can go a long way...
Well if this is work – bring it on! Out in Key West recently I happened to meet 22-year-old Jared at a party. Everyone in the room fell silent when he walked in (I nearly fell off my chair!) and within two minutes I had booked him for a shoot!
Amazingly, he had never had a professional photo shoot in his life – which was fantastic news to me! I love photographing people who don’t realise how good they can look in a photo – it’s much more fun than photographing trained models.
Ask those little things about photography that have been niggling you!! I don’t know the meaning of life but I do know a lot about taking pictures so ask away!
